This Webinar will discuss the legal and strategic aspects of the major employment based nonimmigrant visa categories.

Every day, businesses rely more and more on employees who have expertise in computer based technology or who have experience with foreign subsidiaries.  In order to meet these needs, all medium to large businesses will eventually need to sponsor employees for nonimmigrant work status, and a general overview of the different categories will prepare you for discussions with candidates who require sponsorship.

The Webinar will cover the various visa categories for individuals who intend to stay temporarily in the United States for employment or other business related reasons.

Speaker Profile
Bradley Richards has developed I-9 compliance strategies for dozens of Fortune 500 companies. Through regularly representing companies during DOL I-9 audits, he has gained extensive experience with the key issues companies need to address to minimize exposure to large monetary and criminal penalties.

Richards is an Associate in the firm’s Business Immigration practice group. Representing corporate clients in a variety of industries, Mr. Richards focuses his practice on all aspects of U.S. immigration law. His experience includes employment-based nonimmigrant visa petitions, immigrant petitions, adjustment of status applications, PERM applications, family-based immigration, and appearances at local USCIS offices throughout the United States. He also has extensive experience in advising on U.S. consular issues, including E Visa applications and other nonimmigrant visa applications.

While attending law school, he served as the school’s Community Service Organizer, was on the board of the school’s Public Interest Law Society, interned at the Cook County Public Defender’s Office and clerked for Cabrini Green Legal Aid’s criminal law attorney. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Richards was employed with a major health care consulting firm.
